this is a pretty amazing tape. the packaging alone is an extravaganza of sorts. but the music inside is the real treasure.

so i'm on a tour and staying for a couple days with a friend that has a good vinyl collection.

i started a cassette label for 150 dollars

i started putting out cassettes for a 150 dollar investment. {though you could conceivably do it for near zero.} here's what i did:

this blog is great. i turned onto this one several years ago and remain a bit astounded at all the cool music they keep writing about.

food pyramid.....live/dead

food pyramid. this is a live recording. really cool ambient music. every now and then i get ahold of something i really like in this neighborhood, and this one is it. after many repeated listenings, it's even better than i initially thought.

this tape is by grapefruit. it's a great listen.

this is an amazing instrumental synth recording. very well done.
